Kelsi Brooks
RealtorĀ®My journey began in The Woodlands, Texas where I was born and raised, but the grand adventure of life has taken me through a vast array of unique opportunities. From going to college in Dallas and working as a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader, to moving to Haiti where I met my husband, I am thankful for all the diverse experiences and relationships I have encountered. To be here in the Golden Isles is a refreshing change of environment. Since starting this chapter of life in 2017, I have a newfound appreciation for Coastal Georgia. I am inspired by the beautiful nature, but what I have grown most fond of are all the lovely people.
This is the first small town I have lived in. It took a little while to find a new sense of ‘home’, but what has made the transition smooth are the thoughtful, kind people I encounter every day. I love running into friends almost every time I go to the grocery store. I love that locals know the history of my husband’s relatives since he grew up here. I especially love that my 1 year old daughter is also welcomed and loved in this community. The all-embracing welcome has given me a sense of belonging that can often be hard to find. For that, I am very grateful.
I like to believe that my love for real estate has been wired within since I was a child. At 12 years old, I would sit in my room with a sketch pad and dream up homes that I one day hoped to create. One of my favorite things to do in my hometown was have my parents drive me around to look at homes and neighborhoods. I haven’t met many children who do either of these things with their spare time, and not much as changed for me as an adult. I still love what a house embodies for people; a safe place, a haven, a place of security where you can fully be your truest self. Thus, started my interest to become a Realtor®.
Even though I gain energy from helping clients sell their home or find their next safe haven, I appreciate that being a Realtor® involves much more than that. I have a strong value for details with a love for numbers and logistics, and I am personable with a passion for making people feel cared for. The home buying and selling process can be daunting for many, but it brings me great joy. The intersection of these worlds is my sweet spot, and that is why I love what I do. Allow me to help you through your transition or milestone so that you, too, can Love Where You Live .
