Ruth Heyward Beall
Associate BrokerRUTH HEYWARD BEALL, ABR, ASR, GRI, SRS, SFR, CRS, CDPE, SRES is an Associate Broker with Signature Properties Group, Inc. on St. Simons Island. She has been licensed since 1999 and obtained her broker´s license in 2002. In 2004 she obtained her ASR designation, in 2005 her GRI designation, ABR in 2007 and added the SRS in 2009. In 2010 she added SFR and 2011 CRS designations. In 2012, she added CDPE & SRES
Ruth was the GAR Director of Region 8 for 2013 & 2014. As Regional Director she served as liaison between the Member Boards (6) in her Region and the Executive Committee. She also served on the Executive Committee, Regional Directors Committee, Communications and Public Relations Committee, Strategic Planning Committee, Georgia Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors as well as the GAR Grievance Committee.
She was the 2011 Dean of the GRI Program and she graduated from the 2012 GAR Leadership Academy.
Ruth was the 2008 & 2011 Realtor of the Year. She was a nominee for the GAR Realtor of the Year for 2009 & 2012. She was also a nominee for the YWCA's 2009 Tribute to Women Leaders. Ruth is a multi-million producer.
In her local Board, the Golden Isles Association of Realtors®, Ruth was the 2016 President. She served as Board Director in 2009 - 2011. She was the VP of Professional Development for 2010, 2011 & 2012. During these three years she was also a State Director. Ruth was a Director on the Golden Isles Multiple Listing Service Board for 2017. She also served on the Governmental and RPAC Committee as well as Award's Committee in her local Board for several years. One the State level, Ruth served on the Grievance & Forms Committee from 2013-2019.
Ruth was an active member of the St. Simons Island Rotary Club from 2005-2012. She is also a member of the St. Simons Island Community Church.
Ruth was a CASA Volunteer (Court Appointed Special Advocate for children) from 2007-2013. CASA volunteers are appointed by the Juvenile Judge to watch over and advocate for abused and neglected children so they don't get lost in the legal and social service system or end up in an inappropriate home. During her time, she has been able to place eight children with blood family members or through adoption, which has fulfilled her tremendously. She was a big asset to CASA where she now serves on the Board of Director's. Her languages have made a big difference as well. Ruth was born in Switzerland, moved to the U.S. in 1996 and became a U.S. citizen in 2000. Apart from speaking several languages (English, French, German, Swiss German, Spanish and some Italian), she is actively playing and competing tennis through USTA (U.S. Tennis Association). She enjoys in her spare time sailing/boating and snow skiing.
She is a strong believer in continued education. Through her genuine character, integrity and professionalism, she has earned respect by her clients and peers.
